Jennifer Harvey, in the nearby town of Washington, believes fairy tales never die. Her long-time interest in the story Wind in the Willows inspired her to create a doll house. Named Toad Hall, the five-foot tall 23-room mansion includes bedrooms, a library, chapel, nursery, dining room. living room and more. All are inhabited by miniature, fully-clothed mice.
Jennifer's husband Gow, a supporter of her hobby, used to say "She's nutty as a fruitcake," but people of all ages enjoy her creations and her eccentricity.
