North Blenheim Mutual recognizes that on going efforts are being made by Organizations outside of the Insurance Industry that are concerned with the safety and well being of individuals and the environment. Special discounts are made available to qualifying policyholders.

Ontario Environmental Farm Plan:

Completion of the Environmental Farm Plan demonstrates our farmers' strong commitment to their role as stewards of the land. This program was designed by the Ontario Farm Environmental Coalition, a working group with the Ontario Federation of Agriculture. It was developed with the input of farmers and technical expertise by various Ontario Ministries. After completion of the comprehensive assessment of your farming operation and a commitment to remedy any identified weak areas, a discount could be available on our qualifying Specialized Farm Packages.

Agricultural Safety Audit Program:

Farmers to protect themselves and their employees from losses initiated this program. It is designed as a tool to easily identify hazards, which may be present in your operation. Identifying these hazards and working towards reducing them, shows a commitment on the part of our farmers to put safety first in their farming practices.

Superior Shuttle Tanker Service:

Several municipal fire departments have contacted the Fire Underwriters Survey, a Division of the Insurers' Advisory Organization inc., to have their fire protection services tested and rated for the Superior Shuttle Tanker Service. The designation requires the fire department to have the year round capability of providing a minimum 2001 gpm on the fireground for a minimum of two hours via a water tanker shuttle operation. Having superior fire equipment, an organized and quick responding fire department and an abundant water supply should reduce the damage caused by the spread of fire.
